Facial Trauma

Facial trauma can result in a number of complications, including facial lacerations, damage to the soft tissue, and fracturing of the facial skeleton itself.

Patients who have experienced facial trauma are often afflicted with pain, vision problems, numbness, facial defects, and even nausea.

Surgery to repair facial trauma typically takes place in the first 2 weeks following an injury. However, some procedures can take place months and even years after the injury.

Eyelid & Facial Consultants aims to make every patient feel comfortable and secure. If you have any questions or concerns or would like more information, please call (504) 895-3223 to set up a consultation with one of our specialists.
